Connecting with individuals in a safe and comfortable environment and assisting in their journey to find the life they desire is my greatest aspiration as a therapist. Together we will develop your emotional and behavioral awareness and improve your overall functioning in ways that are beneficial and fulfilling.
Talking to a therapist can help clients make positive changes and develop more productive, life-enhancing ways of functioning. I value a mind-body connection, and strive to share information with clients that will improve both their mental and physical well-being. With open and nonjudgmental communication, I partner with clients to build on their strengths and address challenges. The therapeutic practices, modalities and theories I utilize include a number of evidence-based treatments including Mindfulness Practice, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy. I have a wide variety of personal and professional life experience and feel I can relate well to many different facets of life.
I offer therapy services for individuals from age six to seniors. My experience includes working with individuals in managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, the autism spectrum, organization and concentration issues, and family conflict. I welcome individuals of all races, cultures, backgrounds, creeds, and sexual orientations. My continuing growth and accumulation of mental health knowledge is a path and passion of mine that I use to provide a wide range of services and foster an open-minded approach.
