Daniel Hoyt - Stone Arch Psychology and Health Services

My approach to therapy centers on providing a safe and confidential space where clients can explore aspirations and goals for their future, and challenges for which they seek solutions and resolutions. I also invite clients to explore relationships and events they have experienced throughout their lives. Goals and definitions of success continuously evolve as we live, support and guidance can be instrumental in helping us break through perceived barriers and attain the progress we long for. I believe in addressing the whole person by integrating mindfulness practices and somatic awareness to help clients understand how their mental and physical experiences work together.

I work with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults who are experiencing a wide variety of mental health concerns including difficulties with attention, concentration and memory, trauma related concerns, anxiety, depression, life-changing events, and more. Through our therapeutic relationship, we will consider immediate concerns and historical and deeper emotional patterns. We will explore strengths and coping strategies and invite new ways of approaching challenges, working to create sustainable change that aligns with your authentic goals.

My background includes living and working internationally, as well as working with Native American communities and other diverse populations. I bring a multicultural perspective to therapy and welcome individuals of all ethnicities, gender identities, sexual orientations and religious backgrounds.

I combine evidence-based practices with deep listening and practical skill-building to support clients in their journey toward growth and healing.
