Stone Arch Psychology and Health Services does not have a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner on staff to prescribe medications, but we do work with psychiatrists and nurse practitioners at other clinics and can make referrals to those providers.

Yes, all Stone Arch Psychology and Health Services therapists offer Telehealth Therapy / Online Counseling sessions.

Each therapist takes a different therapeutic approach in their work with clients. Common therapy modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Neuro-Linguistics Programming, Internal Family Systems, Hypnosis, and Mindfulness Meditation Techniques, among others. Please refer to the individual bios on our website for a description of the therapy modalities our therapists provide.

We have a team of therapists at Stone Arch Psychology and Health Services that are trained and experienced in administering psychological and cognitive tests that are designed to assess a wide range of psychological conditions. Click on this link Testing or select SERVICES from the Main Menu to see common conditions assessed through testing and the specific testing tools most commonly used.

Our therapists will work with you to schedule convenient, regular appointment times. As a courtesy to other clients needing appointments who are on our waiting list we request that you provide us with at least 24-hour notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Clients who cancel an appointment less than 24 hours before a scheduled appointment will be charged $100 for every hour that was scheduled. Sometimes clients are unable to keep an appointment because of weather conditions, sudden illness or an unexpected personal emergency, in these cases the client is encouraged to contact us as soon as possible to explain the problem and in most cases the fee will be waived. If you do miss an appointment and don’t advise us, in most cases the late cancellation fee will be charged.

• Stone Arch Psychology and Health Services accepts credit cards, debit cards, checks or cash for payment on the date of service.
• Clients are able to pay for their services online with a credit or debit card by logging into their account on our clinic Patient Portal.
• All online payments made using our Patient Portal are encrypted, processed and protected by Stripe Inc. and are completely PCI Compliant.
• Email invoices for services can be paid in person, over the phone, or online using your account on our clinic Patient Portal.
• Please remember that client co-payments are due at the time of service.

The therapists at Stone Arch Psychology and Health Services are available to answer questions about the services they provide and the modalities they employ, however the therapeutic relationship officially begins when a client comes in for an initial evaluation and signs a consent for treatment form. This form gives the therapist permission to engage in the therapeutic relationship with the client. The initial evaluation is a service that we bill for and can be paid by the client or the client’s insurance provider.

• During our regular office hours one of our office administrators can leave a note for your therapist, or they can transfer you to your therapist’s confidential voicemail. Your therapist will return your call as soon as they are able.
• If you are calling outside of our regular office hours, please listen to the automated message prompts and choose the therapist with whom you wish to leave a message.

Insurance providers and plans are unique. The best way to determine what your benefits are and to find out if you have a co-pay, co-insurance or deductible is to call and ask your insurance provider. We do not offer a sliding scale fee structure for our new clients. If a current client has changes in their usual method of payment our therapists are often willing to work with the client so that they will continue to receive affordable services.
