Jennifer LaCroix - Stone Arch Psychology and Health Services

I strive to listen carefully, see people fully, and create welcoming, inclusive spaces and relationships that support healing and wellness. I view a warm and empathic therapeutic relationship as a primary agent of change.

I believe that people’s strengths and struggles reflect their identities and the relationships, communities, and systems they are nested in and impacted by. I see therapy as one way to facilitate or rekindle a client’s natural ability to thrive, heal, and have a more connected, empowered, fulfilling life.

I have provided therapeutic services in community mental health clinics, in-home intensive therapy, academic settings, residential treatment centers and private practice settings. I work with children, families, individuals and couples from all walks of life and at all stages in the life cycle. I incorporate multicultural, feminist, holistic, and psychodynamic therapeutic modalities. I am trained in TF-CBT, DBT, CBT, and utilize a variety of theories and therapy modalities, and tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs.

My areas of interest include mindfulness, social justice, personal, historical, and racial trauma, development, and biopsychology. I strive to engage in continuous personal learning, development and improvement in an ongoing effort to build additional therapeutic theories and tools into my therapeutic work.
