Marne Chaput MSW LICSW
Licensed Psychotherapist

We all face challenges and obstacles in our lives, and we know that walking through them with others is powerful. I believe the therapeutic relationship between a clinician and a client is the most important pillar in therapy. The relationship’s foundation must be grounded in trust, honor, and humility. This is the guiding factor in all of my work.
I have spent fifteen years practicing in community-based clinics, private practice, residential treatment centers, and day treatment programs. My clinical approach integrates psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and strength-based perspectives. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, personality disorders, and other mental health diagnoses and symptoms. I have extensive experience working with trauma and addiction recovery. I am trained in both EMDR and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), which are both trauma informed modalities.
I work with adults from all racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and political, religious, and spiritual beliefs. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I believe in each person’s capacity for restoration, hope, and recovery. I bring a compassionate, collaborative approach, walking alongside clients as they work towards the life they deserve.
