Therapy is designed to provide individuals with opportunities for positive growth and change. My approach to therapy involves collaborating with clients to empower and strengthen their ability to achieve the desired success.

Life is full of continual change and often we are faced with situations that are new and unfamiliar. My role as a mental health therapist is to provide you with strategies and resources to support you through your life journey.

I work with individuals, couples and families to open lines of healthy communication and develop respectful boundaries, while tapping into inner strengths and wisdom. I utilize a person-centered approach with empathy and compassion. I strive to empower and support my clients to take an active role in their therapeutic treatment. I truly believe that my clients are experts regarding their own life, and that they need support and encouragement to tap into that wisdom and expertise. There are times when old behaviors and beliefs no longer serve us, I focus on providing insight and opportunity to modify those worn-out beliefs and behaviors.

I focus on providing a safe space for individuals to make enduring and constructive changes in their lives, as well as to gain introspection and personal insight. I provide an eclectic mix of therapeutic approaches including Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Contextual Therapy and Family Systems Theory.

I am passionate about serving individuals of different races, cultures, sexual orientations and religions, and have experience working with individuals, families and couples from various cultural backgrounds and minority groups. I am interested in learning more about my client’s unique life situations, traditions and values, as I walk with them on their path to growth and healing.

I have experience working with individuals who have been exposed to traumatic events, and I am skilled in treating individuals struggling with addiction and those who have been impacted by their relationships with individuals struggling with addictions. I also work with individuals struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief and loss, autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit disorder, bipolar disorder and duel diagnosis concerns. I encourage and support individuals to take attainable steps to achieve their goals.
