We all have unique backgrounds and experiences, and in difficult times we are often motivated to search for new solutions and new ways of managing the challenges in our life. Therapy can provide opportunities to discover your strengths and help you make positive life changes. My role as a therapist is to support you on your journey of self-discovery, to nurture and encourage healthy emotions and behaviors, foster your strengths and provide you with new approaches and resources.

There is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy. Each person needs and deserves a unique therapy experience that is tailored to their needs. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families struggling with trauma, personality disorders, psychosis-related disorders, anxiety, depression and a wide variety of other concerns. When working with survivors of trauma my approach is trauma-informed, incorporating Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Attachment Therapy, the Neuroaffective Relational Model and Adlerian theory. When working with children I incorporate play and art therapy, and place emphasis on the development of emotional intelligence and self-esteem. This approach helps a child understand what emotions are, what their purpose is, and how to regulate and communicate their emotions effectively.

I provide therapy for individuals between the ages of 2 ½ to older adults with a wide range of cultural backgrounds, religions, sexual and gender orientations. I also provide mental health testing for individuals looking to gain more clarity around their mental health concerns, including cognitive, adaptive, executive functioning and personality testing.

My passion for working with others guided me to a career in clinical mental health. Understanding that many clients have different needs and values, my therapeutic approach is built upon empathy, understanding, non-judgment, and kindness. I strive to create a space where you’re seen, heard, supported and understood. If you are ready to explore your story and take steps toward healing, I will be honored to walk with you on this journey.
